LUBBOCK, Texas - Texas Tech University?s women?s golf team finished in a tie for 16th place in the 18-team Stanford Intercollegiate over the weekend in Palo Alto, Calif. Tech entered the event fresh off of winning the Jeannine McHaney Memorial two weeks earlier at the Lubbock Country Club.
The University of Tulsa won the event and finished three strokes ahead of runner-up Pepperdine. Arizona State, New Mexico State and Arizona rounded out the top five.
Stephanie Dukes tied for 51st in the event and was the Red Raiders? top finisher. Jamie Vannoy, who finished second at the Jeannine McHaney Memorial, finished tied for 68th.
Texas Tech competes again Nov. 1-3 at the Diet Coke Intercollegiate hosted by New Mexico State in Las Cruces, N.M. The event will be the final event of the fall season.
