Texas Tech Baseball to Travel to Baylor

LUBBOCK, Texas - The Texas Tech baseball team will travel to Waco, Texas and Baylor for a three-game series beginning on Friday at Ferrell Field. Game times are 2 p.m. on Friday, 2 p.m. on Saturday and 1 p.m. on Sunday.
Texas Tech, 7-1 in the Big 12, 24-5 overall and ranked No. 10 by Baseball American, enters the weekend with a 10-game win streak in tact. The Red Raiders are one of the hottest teams in college baseball after winning 18 of their last 19 games.
Baylor is 21-6 overall with a 7-1 Big 12 Conference record. Texas Tech leads the all-time series record with Baylor 52-51 while Red Raiders' head coach Larry Hays is 24-17 all-time against the Bears.
RHP Shane Wright is a probable starter for Texas Tech on Friday, RHP Kevin Tracey could start on Saturday and RHP Brad Ralston on Sunday. Baylor could counter with probable starters RHP Jason Jennings (Friday), LHP Josh Scott (Saturday) and RHP Chad Hawkins (Sunday).
