Women's Soccer Adds Transfer

LUBBOCK,Texas - The Texas Tech women's soccer team announced today that sophomore midfielder Jennifer Hamm, a transfer from the University of Hawaii, has signed a financial aid agreement to attend Texas Tech University and play for the Red Raiders in the fall.
"We are excited about Jennifer coming to Texas Tech," said Head Coach Felix Oskam. "She is the caliber of player that can step into any program and make an immediate impact."
While at Hawaii in 1997, Hamm led the team in scoring with nine points (3 goals, 3 assists), shots (58), shots on goal (36) and game winning goals (3). She was named honorable mention Freshman All-America by Soccer Buzz collegiate soccer magazine and led Hawaii to its most successful season ever with seven wins.
During her prep career at Sandia High School in Albuquerque, N.M., Hamm was the 1997 New Mexico Player of the Year. She was named to both the NSCAA/Umbro and Parade All-America teams her senior year and was a member of Sandia's 1996 state high school championship team.
