Men's Hoops Falls To Baylor, 71-57

WACO, Texas (AP) - DeMarcus Minor scored 14 of his game-high 18 points in the second half to push Baylor to a 71-57 victory over Texas Tech Wednesday night.
Baylor led 32-24 at the half, but the Red Raiders (9-7 overall, 0-5 Big 12) pulled to 44-43 with 11:31 left. The Bears (10-7, 1-5) put the game away with a 17-1 run midway through the second half.
Texas Tech, the only Big 12 team that hasn't won a conference game this season, went nine minutes without a basket during a stretch of the second half.
Baylor, meanwhile, made six of 11 3-pointers. Travis Stukes, who finished with 15 points, hit three of four shots from outside the 3-point arc in the second half.
Brodney Kennard led the Red Raiders in scoring with 15 points.
The Bears scored 15 points off 16 Tech turnovers.
The Big 12 Conference win is Baylor's first in 23 games.
