Anderson invited to NBA Draft Combine

LUBBOCK – Christian Anderson has earned an invite to the AWS NBA Draft Combine which will take place from May 10-17 in Chicago. Anderson, who is coming off an All-America sophomore season at Texas Tech, is one of 73 players to secure an invite for the NBA Draft Combine which is a showcase ahead of the NBA Draft which is set for June 23-24 at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn.
Anderson established a new Red Raider single-season record with 244 assists as a sophomore and made 108 3-pointers which is the second most in program history. He led the Big 12 and was fifth nationally with 7.4 assists per game and ranked fifth in the Big 12 by scoring 18.5 points per game. Anderson finished his second season at Tech shooting 108-for-260 (41.5%) on 3-pointers and earned AP All-America Third Team, USBWA All-America Third Team, The Sporting News All-America Third Team and All-Big 12 First Team honors.
Anderson has played two seasons at Texas Tech where he has 983 points, 321 assists, 89 steals and 223 rebounds through 68 career games. He scored a career-high 34 points in a win over Lindenwood in the season opener and had a career-best 13 assists against Oklahoma State in conference play. Anderson has eight double-doubles on his career resume and is 179-for-447 (40.0%) from beyond the arc in his collegiate career.
Players who have applied for early entry have the right to withdraw their names from consideration for the Draft by notifying the NBA of their decision in writing no later than 4 p.m. on Saturday, June 13. Under NCAA rules, in order to retain college basketball eligibility, college players who have entered NBA Draft 2026 must withdraw by Wednesday, May 27.
