Brown To Sit Out 2-3 More Weeks

LUBBOCK, Texas - Freshman Dionne Brown of the Texas Tech women's basketball team has torn her medial collateral ligament in her right knee and will be sidelined for 2-3 more weeks after sitting out this past week. Brown has already begun the rehabilitation process.

Brown, a native of Georgetown, Texas, has been averaging 8.8 points and 5.8 rebounds a game, while shooting a team-high 75.8 percent from the field.
