2000 Texas Tech Tennis Camps Scheduled for June, July

LUBBOCK, Texas - Texas Tech University tennis coach Tim Siegel has set dates for his summer tennis camps. The day camp will be held June 26 through 29 at the Men's Varsity courts (8th and University Ave.) on the Tech campus. Overnight camps will b held July 2 through 6 and July 23 through 27.
The camps will feature the instruction of men's coach Tim Siegel and assistant coach Randy Rowley. Siegel , a former two-time All-American at the University of Arkansas, has led the Red Raiders men's team to the NCAA Tournament five of the past six seasons. He is a former pro tour player who was ranked in the top 100 in the world in doubles and competed in prestigious venues such as the U.S. Open, Australian Open and Wimbledon. Rowley has spent the past two summers coaching in Europe as the National Tennis Coach for Tennis Europe and is on the Board of Officers for the Dallas Tennis Association.
Camps will feature individualized instruction, competitions, 5-6 hours of instruction and supervised play and each camper will receive a video analyzed by the instructors with helpful tips to elevate their game and improve their strokes. The camps have limited enrollment on a first-come, first-serve basis. New NCAA rules allow high school seniors to attend if they have not signed a letter of intent to play a sport at a college or university.
