Men's Tennis Edges Oklahoma 4-3

The 63rd ranked Texas Tech men's tennis team defeated No. 52 Oklahoma, 4-3, Sunday, at the Westwood Tennis Courts.
Red Raiders Borut Martincevic, Ryan Shupe and Clay Estes won singles matches as the two teams split singles play 3-3. Estes, who played in the No. 5 position, won the only three-set match of the day, defeating Oklahoma's Rick Warren 6-0, 5-7, 6-2, to force a tie going into doubles play.
Jevgenij Cariov and Borut Martincevic, Texas Tech's No. 1 doubles team, fell to Charlie Roberson and Warren. But the Red Raiders rebounded in the No.2 and No. 3 doubles positions, with the team's of Ryan Shupe and Jeremy Earl, and Patricio Espinosa and Estes winning doubles matches to clinch the doubles point for Tech.
