Owens Controls the Boards in Win

LUBBOCK, Texas - Texas Tech senior forward Cliff Owens (Santa Fe, Texas) grabbed 12 rebounds and scored six points to help the Big 12 All-Stars erase an early deficit and defeat the Arcadia Traiskirchen Basketball Club 93-75 Saturday afternoon. The game was the second of six the team will play during the next week in Europe.
Owens managed only 2-of-6 from the field, but crashed the boards to lead the All-Star team. Texas' Chris Owens led all scorers with 23 points, while Baylor's Terry Black added 13.
The team returns to play on Sunday, August 13, when it faces Basket Swans B.C.
