FOX to Televise HCF Football Classic

Texas Tech athletic director Gerald Myers confirmed today that the Red Raiders' season-opener against New Mexico in the Hispanic College Fund Football Classic will be televised by FOX. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. at Jones SBC Stadium.

Myers did say, however, that the game is subject to blackout in the Lubbock area depending on how ticket sales proceed. Tickets for the HCF Football Classic are $35 and may be purchased by calling 1-888 GO BIG 12 or (806) 742-TECH. Red Raider fans may also purchase tickets via the Internet at www.texastech.com.
