Women's Golf Competing in Comcast-Dick McGuire Invitational

LUBBOCK, Texas -

The Texas Tech Women's golf team will compete in the 22nd Annual Comcast-Dick McGuire Invitational Sept. 21-23. The tournament will be held at the University of New Mexico Championship Course. Tee times for Thursday and Friday at 8:30 a.m. with an 8 a.m. start on Saturday.

The Red Raiders look to improve on their 14th place finish of last year. The team will compete with Melanie Hunt, Stephanie Dukes, Jennifer Newhouse, Priscillia Hunt, Jackie Ey and Tamara Munsch. Tamara Munsch will be competing in the individual competition.

At the Alltel Huskers Invitational, the Red Raiders finished second with a combined score of 914. Melanie Hunt tied for 11th, Jennifer Newhouse tied for 16th, Stephanie Dukes tied for 19th and Jackie Ey and Tamara Munsch tied for 22nd.
