Women's Golf finishes in 11th at the McGuire Invitational

LUBBOCK, Texas - The Red Raiders finish in 11th place at the Comcast-Dick McGuire Invitational with a combined score of (933). The three-day, 73-par University of New Mexico Championship Golf Course was the second tournament this year for the team.

Melanie Hunt and Stephanie Dukes both finish in 42nd place with a score of 15-over par. Melanie shot a (78) and Stephanie an (81). Jennifer Newhouse shot a (78) for 16-over par to finish in 46th, Jackie Ey shot a (84) for 19-over par to finish 56th and Priscillia Hunt shot an (82) for 20-over par to finish 62nd. In Individual action Tamara Munsch shot an (82) for 26-over par to finish in 86th.

Arizona won the tournament with a combined of (892). Lorena Ochoa of Arizona won the event with a 7-under par.

The Red Raiders play next in the Stanford Intercollegiate on October 20th.
