Tech And Missouri Postpone Saturday's Game

LUBBOCK, Texas - The Texas Tech/Missouri baseball game scheduled for 2 p.m. on Saturday has been postponed due to heavy rains in the Lubbock area. The two teams will now play a doubleheader beginning at 11 a.m. on Sunday, March 31 at Dan Law Field.
Under Big 12 regulations, its is the obligation of both schools to play all three games of a conference series which forced Texas Tech and Missouri to begin a doubleheader at 11 a.m. on Sunday.
"The last thing we want to do is play baseball on Easter morning but we are just trying to fulfill our conference obligations, said Texas Tech head coach Larry Hays. "Numerous churches will be having early services on Sunday morning and we hope that our fans can still go to church and come out for some great baseball in the afternoon."
Season ticket holders holding tickets for Saturday's game can redeem them for the first game of the doubleheader on Sunday morning.
