Lubbock, TX - The Red Raiders travel to College Station for their Saturday, February 1, game against the Aggies of Texas A&M University.
Texas Tech is fresh off their 66 - 56 win over the Colorado Buffaloes at home on Wednesday giving Coach Bob Knight his 799th career win. The Raiders stand at 12 - 4 for the season and are 2 - 3 in the Big 12.
Texas A&M returns home from their 75 - 68 loss at the hands of the Oklahoma Sooners on Tuesday. The Aggies have not lost consecutive games all season.
Overall, Texas Tech leads the series 56 - 49, and has won the last three meetings. A&M leads in games played in College Station 29 - 19 while the Raiders hold a 32 - 16 margin in games played in Lubbock. Tech holds a slight 5 - 4 edge when playing at neutral sites.
The game begins at 5:35 p.m. in Reed Arena (12,500) and will be carried on various Cox Cable stations around the state. In the Lubbock area, Cox Cable 78 is expected to carry the game. Contact your local Cox Cable office to determine if the game is being televised in your specific area.
The Raiders return to the United Spirit Arena on Wednesday, February 5, to host the Nebraska Cornhuskers in an 8:15 p.m. game.
