ENTRY SUBMISSION
Entries will be submitted on line at www.directathletics.com. If you are submitting entries for a team, you will need a password & user name. You may get this by calling Direct Athletics at 617-879-1797 or our track office. If you are entering only one athlete, there is a specific link on the web site for that purpose. If however, you are entering 3 or more unattached athletes, it is recommended that you get a team account password from direct athletics for a quicker entry process. There is a step-by-step instruction list on the direct athletics website. If you have any additional questions about the entry process, please contact Direct Athletics (617-879-1797).
ENTRY DEADLINE - 12 PM on the Thursday prior to the meet (2/19/03)
There will be no changes or additions after this point in time. Only scratches will be allowed.

ENTRY FEES:
The entry fee for teams of eight or more athletes is $150.00. Teams with less than eight athletes will pay $20.00 per individual. Understand that if you bring a varsity and junior varsity team, the entry fee will be $300.00 (for example, if you have a varsity girls team & a junior varsity girls team the entry fee will be $300). Please pay all entry fees upon arrival at the packet pickup location. Please make checks payable to Wes Kittley.
- There will be a coaches meeting at 7:45 AM, Saturday, February 21st before the start of the meet in the East weight room.
- If you have POLE VAULT poles that you need to bring into the ATC, you will need to bring them through & exit from the southwest door on the second level. There will be someone to meet you at the door to let you in.
- If your athletes intend to compete in your school uniform it will count as one of your UIL contests.
- Only ? inch pyramid or Christmas trees spikes will be allowed on the track surface. ABSOLUTELY NO NEEDLE SPIKES CAN BE WORN ON THE TRACK. Each athlete will have his or her spikes checked at the hip number pick-up table, at the starting line & the field event areas. Athletes will not be allowed to compete without the correct spike length & type. Athletes attempting to compete with the wrong spikes will be disqualified. Pyramid spikes can be purchased at the check-in table ($15 for a bag of 100 & $2 for a bag of 16). Thank you for your cooperation.

- Field Event Check-in Procedure: All field events must report to his or her respective field event area at least 30 minutes prior to the start of the event (Both Varsity & Junior Varsity need to report at the same time & they will compete together). Only competing athletes will be allowed in the field event area while the event is being contested. Only ONE coach for each school will be allowed in the field event areas.
- Only FOUR attempts will be allowed in the field events.
- Implement weigh-in will be ONE HOUR prior to the start of the event.
- Please only use white athletic tape to mark the track or runway surfaces. Please DO NOT USE CHAULK for start marks or check point marks.
- Running Event Check-in Procedure: all athletes will need to check-in with their spikes at the hip number table at least 5-10 minutes prior to the start of their race. Athletes will remain in the "paddock" area & will be escorted to the starting line.
- There will be coaches' passes provided (2 passes per gender for full teams). That is the only way a coach will be allowed to cross the track or in the field event areas.
- Due to the large number of anticipated entries, there will be no blocks for the 200m & the 400m races.
- There will be a gate admission for all spectators ($3 for Adults, $2 for under 12 years old, free admission - age 6 & under).
- There will be no concessions available inside the ATC but there are food locations within walking distance.
