On the game...
"I thought it was a very tough game for Texas to play, and I think that's one of the inherent qualities of post season tournament play. Texas has beaten us twice during the year and now they've got to come back and play us a third time, and it isn't like playing someone you haven't played before or playing someone that beat you. I think the fact they had beaten us twice worked a little bit in our favor and not quite in there's. Maybe it detracts a little bitfrom their preparedness for the game."
On Nathan Doudney...
"Doudney has been really disappointing over the course of the year, right from the beginning. In fact I don't think he approached his development in the season as he should and perhaps that will be a lesson for him, maybe tonight will help him in that regard. He played well last night and that's why when he went today to decide on a starting lineup, really Doudney would not have gotten the vote. And I ended up casting the deciding ballot on the thing because he had played well last night."

On Nathan Doudney...
"Nathan can play an he's been hitting shots all year. He's stepped up and has hit shots so we kept giving it to him. He's a great shooter, they were open shots, and he was knocking them down."
On Texas' defense...
"I don't think they were confused on defense we just executed our offense well. I don't think they were confused. We just did a good job creating shots off screens."

On playing Oklahoma after the disputed game clock game in Norman... "That game hurt us. I think we wanted to win that game so bad and when that happened it took a lot out of us so we're going to be looking forward to whoever we're playing because with Oklahoma we're going to be excited to get that one back."
On Texas Tech's fast start...
"I think they (Texas) thouhgt they were going to be able to pressure us a lot and we just moved the ball around ans just got it to the open person. Will and Nathan hit a lot of open shots and that just opened up everything to us."
