LUBBOCK, Texas - Texas Tech junior golfer Kim Kolb (Sioux Falls, S.D.) fired an opening round 69 Tuesday and leads three other Lady Raider golfers in the top four positions of the Collegiate Players Tour event at Texas Star Golf Course in Euless, Texas.

Behind Kolb in the standings, Texas Tech juniors Sheila Mendez (El Paso, Texas) and Megan Hull (Mansfield, Texas) and senior Jackie Ey (San Antonio, Texas) are in second through fourth places, respectively. Mendez shot a 74, while Hull and Ey turned in rounds of 75 and 76.

The 54-hole event runs through Thursday.
