Kolb Wins Second CPT Event of Summer

LUBBOCK, Texas - Texas Tech golfer Kim Kolb (Sioux Falls, S.D./O'Gorman) shot a final round 72 en route to winning her second Collegiate Players Tour event of the summer at Texas Star Golf Course in Euless, Texas.

Kolb, who led following each of the three rounds, also won the CPT event in Tyler, Texas, earlier this summer. The junior posted rounds of 69, 76 and 72 to win the event Thursday.

Behind Kolb in the standings, Texas Tech junior Sheila Mendez (El Paso, Texas) finished third, while junior Megan Hull (Mansfield, Texas) and senior Jackie Ey (San Antonio, Texas) finished tied for sixth.
