Red Raider Golf Adds Transfer

LUBBOCK, Texas - Texas Tech head men's golf coach Greg Sands announced today that Lubbock native Shaun Melville (Frenship High School) will return to the South Plains and transfer to Tech after spending the last two season at Oklahoma Christian University.
Melville, a two-time All-American at OCU, posted three top 10 finishes and eight top 20s during his freshman and sophomore seasons. The new edition to the Red Raider roster recently competed in the U.S. Amateur, but missed the cut after posting consecutive rounds of 75.
The Red Raiders open the 2003 season at The "Tucker" in Albuquerque, N.M., Sept. 12-13.
