STILLWATER, Okla. - Oklahoma State scored five goals in the first half and one in the second to defeat the Texas Tech Red Raiders 6-0 on Friday night in the Big 12 Conference opener for both teams at the OSU Soccer Complex in Stillwater.
Ashlyn Brantley and Joanne Edwards both scored two goals each in the first half for the Cowgirls while Katie Lacey added the fifth. OSU outshot Tech 18-1 in the first half and finished the game with a 24-5 margin.
Texas Tech will host the Kansas Jayhawks on Sunday afternoon at 1 p.m. at R.P. Fuller Stadium.
