Raiders Face Buckeyes on Sunday at Noon (CT)

Columbus, OH - The Texas Tech University Red Raiders (11-2) travel to Columbus, Ohio to battle The Ohio State University Buckeyes (8-4) on Sunday, January 4, in a 12 p.m. (Central Time) tip-off.
The game will be televised on ESPN-Regional as well as on the Texas Tech Television Network. The satellite coordinates for the game are: AMC1 - Transponder K20.
Tom Hamilton will deliver the play-by-play as Bill Hosket provides the expert analysis for ESPN-Regional. Brian Jensen will call the play-by-play for the Texas Tech Television Network with Michael Lewis providing the analysis.
The game can be found on the UPN channel in the Lubbock area while KFWD (Channel 52) will provide game coverage in the Dallas/Fort Worth areas. Please consult your local listings for specific area game coverage. Mark Finkner will handle the play-by-play calls on the All Sports Radio Network.
The Raiders defeated the Minnesota Golden Gophers by the score of 90 to 73 in the United Spirit Arena on New Year's Day as Coach Bob Knight earned his 820th career victory. Coach Knight is now the fourth coach to accumulate 800+ wins. Jim Phelan (Mount St. Mary's) has 830 wins, the late Adolph Rupp won 876, and Dean Smith (Bob Knight's close friend) leads everyone with a remarkable 879 wins.
This afternoon's contest between the Red Raiders and Buckeyes will be Coach Knight's 1,134th game as a head coach. Mount St. Mary's coach, Jim Phelan, coached 1,354 games and completed his 49th and final season on Saturday, March 1, 2003.
The Raiders are home on Saturday, January 10, as they open conference play against Oklahoma State. Tip-off will be at 3:00 p.m.
