Red Raiders Begin Round Three in Seventh Place

LUBBOCK, Texas - Andrew Dresser and William Haddrell fired a pair of 147s during the first two rounds of the Club Glove Intercollegiate in Somis, Calif., as Texas Tech enters today's third and final round in seventh place and 18 shots behind team leader and tournament host Pepperdine.
Dresser and Haddrell, tied in 24th place, mirrored each other during the first two rounds with a pair of 72s in the opening round and 75s in the second. Oscar Floren shot a pair of 74s and is tied in 29th place, while Shaun Melville posted rounds of 75 and 76 and is tied in 41st place. Nicholas Allain is tied in 45th place after shooting rounds of 79 and 74.
Pepperdine leads the event at Saticoy Country Club with a 3-under 573. Arizona State, SMU, Coastal Carolina and UC-Irvine round out the top five, while UTEP, Texas Tech, UC-Riverside, Kent State and Baylor are sixth through 10th, respectively. North Carolina State and Houston are 11th and 12th.
