Texas Tech To Host Final Scrimmage On Thursday

LUBBOCK, Texas - The Texas Tech Red Raiders will hold their second and final Red and Black scrimmage of the 2004-2005 season on Thursday night at the United Spirit Arena. Tip-off will be at 7:00 p.m. Thursday's scrimmage will not have television or radio coverage.
All PSL and season ticket holders have received tickets for themselves and guests for the final intra-squad game of the 2004-2005 season. All Texas Tech students are admitted free of charge to the intra-squad scrimmage. General Admission tickets to the scrimmage can be purchased for $5.00 each.
Coach Bob Knight has invited university faculty, staff, and students as well as all local fans to watch the Red Raiders in another open practice on Wednesday, November 10, at 4 PM in the United Spirit Arena. Coach Knight will host a question and answer session following the open practice.
The Red Raider squad begins non-conference play on Friday, November 19, as the UNC-Asheville Bulldogs visit the United Spirit Arena. This marks the first meeting between the two teams. Tip-off is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. The Texas Tech Television Network will televise the game with coverage provided outside the Lubbock area.
The Centenary tip-off time has been moved from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Saturday, November 27, as a result of the Red Raiders' football game against Oklahoma State being picked up by FSN with the kickoff at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, November 27, at Jones SBC Stadium.
John Harris begins his second season as "The Voice of the Red Raiders" on KQBR (99.5 FM) and KKAM (1340 AM), the flagship station on the All Sports Radio Network.
