LUBBOCK, Texas (AP) - Cisti Greenwalt scored 19 points and No. 13 Texas Tech raced to an 83-37 victory against Sacramento State on Tuesday night.
The Lady Raiders (8-2) limited the Hornets to 17 points in the second half, including three baskets in the final 7:41.
Chesley Dabbs added 15 points for Texas Tech. Judith Smith had 12, while LaToya Davis finished with 10.
Tyeisha Brown led Sacramento State (3-6) with eight points.
Tech grabbed control of the game midway through the first half with 10 unanswered points that turned an 8-5 cushion into an 18-5 advantage. The Lady Raiders scored three baskets in 10 seconds with two inside shots from Greenwalt and a layup by Alesha Robertson.
Greenwalt's basket off a pass from Smith just before the buzzer gave Tech a 45-20 lead at intermission.
Tech turned the ball over on its first four possessions of the second half, but the Lady Raiders quickly recovered with a 17-3 run - capped by Smith's two free throws at the 13:33 mark - for a 62-23 lead.
