All-America Stars Emmett and Freije Head NABC All-Stars

San Antonio, TX - All-Americas Andre Emmett of Texas Tech and Matt Freije of Vanderbilt lead a team of 12 college senior all-stars against the fabled Harlem Globetrotters Friday night at 7 p.m. in the annual National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) All-Star game at the SBC Center.
Emmett, a first team NABC All-America selection, and Freije, who earned third team All-America honors from the NABC, are joined on the NABC team by a star, forward Leroy Hurd who led Texas-San Antonio to the NCAA tournament this season.
The NABC all-stars will be coached by Jim Boeheim, who guided his Syracuse University team to the 2003 NCAA championship in New Orleans. In his 28th season, Boeheim's Orangemen reached the Sweet 16 this season before losing to Alabama.
The NABC roster also includes guard Tony Bobbitt of Cincinnati; forward Erik Daniels of Kentucky; guard Miah Davis of Pacific; guard David Hawkins of Temple; guard Matt Lottich of Stanford; center Velimir Radinovic of Ohio State; forward Cory Violette of Gonzaga; center Keith Waleskowski of Dayton and guard Rashad Wright of Georgia.
