Volleyball Loses 3-2 Heartbreaker to No. 7 Missouri

Lubbock, Texas- The Missouri Tigers had only lost one game all season but today, they gave up two games to the Red Raiders, in their come-from-behind 3-2 victory at the United Spirit Arena. Missouri clinched the match with game scores of 27-30, 28-30, 30-23, 30-21, 15-12.
After taking games one and two, the Red Raiders couldn't battle back against the Tiger attack. Missouri had five players in double-digit kills and five players in double-digit digs.
Philister Sang tallied her seventh double-double of the season with 19 kills and 13 digs. Assisting on the offensive attack was Amy Charlebois who pounded down 18 kills, her season match-high. Emily Ziegler served as the primary setter, posting 44 assists, a season match-high. Desiree Batista anchored the defense with 25 digs, also a season match-high.
The Red Raiders will travel to Iowa State on Tuesday to face the Cyclones. First serve is slated for 7 p.m.
