Lubbock, Texas - The Texas Tech women's tennis team concluded competition at the Midland Racquet Club, in Midland, Texas, this afternoon.
Samantha van der Drift fell to Arlena Rogers of Rice, 5-7, 7-6, (10-7). Cigdem Duru topped Nicki Mechem of Texas A&M, 6-3, 6-3 and then fell to Tracy Lin of UCLA, 6-3, 6-3.
In doubles action, Duru and van der Drift were edged by Lin and Sarah Gregg of UCLA, 8-6.
