The Bob Knight Show Begins October 30

With the 2005-2006 Texas Tech basketball season nearing tip-off, The Bob Knight Show begins in the Lubbock, Dallas, and Houston markets on Sunday, October 30.

Veteran sports broadcaster David Collier of KAMC-28 is the show's host. The weekly show will feature the latest information from Coach Bob Knight on the Texas Tech team as well as guest interviews throughout the season. The basketball program will run for 21 weeks with additional shows based on the Red Raider postseason.

In Lubbock, the show will air on KAMC-28 at 5:30 PM and again following the news at 10:35 PM.

In Dallas, the show begins at 5:30 PM on KFWD-52.

Houston is the newest market to carry The Bob Knight Show, which can be seen on "The Tube" KTBU-55 at 5:00 PM. "The Tube" is Houston's leading independent broadcasting station, specializing in local events and classic family programming.

The Red Raiders begin the 2005-2006 season with the Red and Black scrimmage on Wednesday, November 2, at the United Spirit Arena in a 7 PM tip-off.

The Texas Tech Red Raiders serve as one of four regional hosts for the Coaches versus Cancer Classic on November 10 and 11. Portland will take on Georgia Southern in the first game beginning at 4:30 PM on November 10. The Raiders face the Spartans of San Jose State in the second game. On November 11, the consolation game gets underway at 5:30 PM with the regional championship game beginning at 7:30 PM.
