Volleyball Inks California Standout

Texas Tech head volleyball coach, Nancy Todd, announced the signing of Kelli Minardo, a 6'-5" middle blocker, for the 2006.

Lubbock, Texas - Texas Tech head volleyball coach, Nancy Todd, announced the signing of Kelli Minardo, a 6'-5" middle blocker, for the 2006.

Minardo, a native of Chino Hills, Calif., attends Chino Hills high school and is a member of Club West.

At Chino Hills, she was named a scholar-athlete in 2002 and most improved in 2004. She was honored as All-Sierra league in 2004 and 2005 and was named All-Academic Sierra League in 2004 for her efforts in the classroom.

Minardo is a three-year letterwinner in volleyball and is currently completing her senior season. Her brother, Chris, plays basketball at Cal State Fullerton.
