Texas Tech
Head Coach Bob Knight
Opening Statement
"We made some strides in our defensive play. We didn't have sharp moves in our offense. That is something that we have got to on. We still scored 84 points though. We did a good job in the first half with our positioning without getting any points from Martin Zeno. We got off to a good start. They did neutralize us a bit. We have yet to start off a game good and start the second half good as well. The most negative thing about the game was our ball handling. All-in-all from our standpoint it was a good game."
Junior Forward Daryl Dora
On scoring
"Coach has been stressing that we need to score. The guards have been giving us the ball and we just haven't been able to follow through. We have to make shots in this league."
Junior Guard Jarrius Jackson
On the game
"We knew they like to mix up the defense. We knew we had to continue to knock down shots."
TCU
Head Coach Neil Dougherty
On the game
"My initial thought is that we have been on the road. We didn't play real well tonight. Tech moved the ball and shot the ball well. We have a lot of things to fix to try to beat a good team like Tech."
