Tee Times Set for Central Regional

LUBBOCK, Texas - Tee times for Thursday's round of the NCAA Division I Women's Golf Central Regional are set for 7:30 a.m. with holes No. 1 and No. 10 serving as starting points as tournament play gets underway on May 5 at The Rawls Course on the Texas Tech campus.
Texas Tech, the host institution for the event, will tee off its first of five players at 12:40 p.m. from the first hole. All groups will tee off in 10-minute increments. The tournament's three individual competitors - Louise Kenney (Iowa State), Emily Milberger (Oklahoma) and Merynn Ito (Nebraska) - are scheduled as the first group off of the first tee. Tulsa, TCU and SMU begin play from the 10th tee at 7:30 a.m.
The Central Regional, a 54-hole event, is scheduled for Thursday through Saturday and is open to the public. All 21 teams and three individuals will work through a practice round Wednesday. The top eight teams from each regional will advance to the NCAA Championships in Sunriver, Ore.
