The Road To Houston Begins Saturday On FSN Southwest

LUBBOCK, Texas - FSN Southwest's "Road To Houston" is set to debut on Saturday, Aug. 20 and will give in an in-depth look at the Big 12 South Division teams and what it will take in order to reach the Dr. Pepper Big 12 Championship game at Reliant Stadium on Dec. 3.
Bill Land (Big 12 Showcase) will host a 30-minute special on each Big 12 South school and the series will be shown consecutively beginning with the Baylor Bears at 1 p.m. on Saturday. Texas Tech's 30-minute special is scheduled to start at 3:30 p.m. and will be replayed again at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 24. The show will feature an in-depth interview with head coach Mike Leach, a look at key returning players, a comprehensive break down of strengths and weaknesses by FSN Big 12 analysts Dave Lapham and Gary Reasons, and player profiles.
The programs are telecast throughout the network's Southwest region, reaching more than 8 million cable and satellite TV subscribers in Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Louisiana and parts of New Mexico.
Additionally, each preview show airs nationally on Fox College Sports (FCS) - three regionally-aligned channels (FCS Atlantic, FCS Central, FCS Pacific) programmed from the 20 FSN and FSN-affiliated regional sports networks available to 40 million digital cable homes nationwide.
