Hey guys!! It's Amy Charlebois, a senior MB for the Texas Tech Red Raiders. I am from Toronto, Canada, and am just finishing up my third year at Tech. I can't believe it has gone by so fast! We are currently getting ready for my last season here, along with three other seniors, Alicia Ostmeyer, Lindsey Louis and Emily Ziegler.
We are running and lifting weights four times a week with our great strength coach, Katie. It's actually fun though, because she has changed everything into competitions...which I LOVE because I am a very competitive person. We either go head to head with our own team in agility and running or we have competitions with the soccer team. It doesn't even feel like a workout until after and you can't really feel or move your legs! But don't worry we usually get our legs back for our afternoon workouts that we have right now, which are only twice a week and for an hour. We call them individuals, because it is just three or four people practicing at a time with coaches everywhere! This is when you learn all those little helpful things!
I hope everyone gets a chance to come out to our spring games this year and see us in our top shape! And for all of you out there who are involved in recruiting, I hope these little blogs help you get a sense of what Tech is all about.
Go Red Raiders!!!
