The Texas Tech Red Raiders (15-9, 4-5) take on the Oklahoma State Cowboys (18-5, 4-4) on Saturday afternoon in Stillwater. The 3 PM tip-off at Gallagher-Iba Arena is televised on ESPN 2 with Ron Franklin calling the play-by-play and Fran Fraschilla providing the game analysis.
In West Texas, the game can be seen on Dish Network (Channel 144) and Suddenlink Cable (Channel 30).
The Red Raiders and the Cowboys are meeting for the thirty-eighth time since the series began on January 1, 1937. OSU leads the series 26-11. The Cowboys have 15-4 advantage when the teams have met in Stillwater and a 5-2 margin on neutral courts. Texas Tech has a 6-5 edge when the teams have played in Lubbock. Last season, the Red Raiders won in overtime (92-90) at the United Spirit Arena on January 28. Jarrius Jackson led all scorers with 26 points. On February 25, the Cowboys won in Stillwater (74-63) as Jarrius Jackson (TT) and JamesOn Curry (OSU) each scored 18 points.
The Red Raiders feature two players averaging double-figures for the 2006-2007 season. Jarrius Jackson's 19.9 points per game is third in the Big 12 Conference. Martin Zeno's 16.5 points per game ranks eighth (tie) in the conference.
In Stillwater, Steve Dale will call the courtside action along with Ted Chidester as analyst on the Texas Tech Sports Network (KFYO 790 AM and KQBR 99.5 FM).
Texas Tech travels to College Station for Tuesday's game against Texas A&M in a 6 PM match-up with television coverage provided by ESPN 2.
