CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas - A total of four home Texas Tech baseball games will be televised this season as part of a joint production between the Texas Tech Television Network, Ramar Communications and Fox College Sports.
Texas Tech's Big 12 series openers against Nebraska, Texas A&M, Kansas and Oklahoma State will be carried live in Lubbock on MyLubbock TV (Suddenlink Cable Channel 6) and nationally on Fox College Sports (check local listings).
The Red Raiders will open Big 12 play this Thursday as Tech welcomes the 17th-ranked Nebraska Cornhuskers to Dan Law Field for a three-game series. The first game of the Nebraska series (March 15 at 6:30 p.m.) will signal the first of the four televised games set to air.
"We have a really strong relationship with our television network and Ramar Communications and we are excited to have Fox College Sports join in the mix," said Texas Tech Head Coach Larry Hays. "Brad Moran and his staff at Ramar have been very generous with our program over the years and we appreciate every bit of it. Having Fox College Sports join in on the package is going to be great not only for our program but for all of Big 12 baseball. We play excellent baseball in this league and this is just another opportunity for us to showcase that to the rest of the country."
