Baseball Adds Tuesday Night Game

Tech will face Hardin Simmons at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday

LUBBOCK, Texas - Texas Tech Head Baseball Coach Larry Hays has announced that the Red Raiders will face Hardin Simmons on Tuesday night at Dan Law Field. First pitch is set for 6:30 p.m.

The game against Hardin Simmons is being added to the schedule to help replace one of the two games that Tech has lost to weather this season. The Red Raiders lost a home game with TCU back in March and a conference game against Texas A&M on Saturday - both due to inclement weather.

Season ticket holders can present either their TCU or Texas A&M (Game Three) ticket for admission to Tuesday's game. Texas Tech and Hardin Simmons first met on the diamond back in 1927 and Tuesday's game will mark the 111th contest between the two West Texas institutions. Texas Tech leads the all-time series 72-29 and won the last meeting 10-6 back on April 13, 2005.
