LUBBOCK, Texas - Robyn Scott, a native of Auckland, New Zealand, is the latest addition to Stacey Totman's Red Raider women's golf squad. Scott inked with the program late last week.
"I am thrilled with the addition of Robyn to the Texas Tech women's golf program," Totman said. "She brings a great deal of experience with her, and I believer she will be a huge asset to the program. I look for Robyn to play a big role in the future success of our program."
The winner of New Zealand's Under 21 Khandahla Championship, Scott finished second in the Lochiel Open and fifth at the Kaimai Junior Classic. A member of New Zealand's women's team at the Lake Macquarie Amateur Championships, Scott also titled at the Waikato Age Group Championships and finished third at the Christchurch Press Invitational.
"Robyn is a very determined person and will help push the players around her to elevate their games to a higher level," Totman added. "She is a terrific young woman and will represent Texas Tech in a very positive way. I feel that we have all the pieces in place to do some great things."
Scott joins Alex Gibson, Stephanie Smith and Jackie Smith, all who signed in November, in the 2007 recruiting class.
