Tip-Off Dinner Set for October 30

LUBBOCK, Texas - Tickets are now available for the 2008 Tip-Off Dinner scheduled for Oct. 30 at 6 p.m. at the United Spirit Arena. The event will highlight appearances by Texas Tech head coaches Pat Knight and Kristy Curry, the Court Jesters, Raider Red, and the Masked Rider.

Individual tickets are $30, and a reserved table - consisting of eight seats - is $300. Student-athlete or assistant coach's tables for six can both be purchased for $500, while the head coach's table, also seating six, is $1,000. All proceeds from the event go directly to the Red Raider Scholarship Fund, which supports more than 280 scholarship student-athletes. Kids 10 years of age and under get in free.

Doors open at 6 p.m. with the program beginning at 6:30 p.m. An autograph session will immediately follow the program. For ticket information or to reserve a table, contact the Red Raider Club at (806) 742-1196.
