
Tech Travels to Midland for Racquet Club Invite

LUBBOCK, Texas - The Texas Tech women's tennis squad will be travelling to Midland, Texas, to compete in the Midland Racquet Club Collegiate Championship, Oct. 10-12.
The Lady Raiders will compete in singles and doubles action against Pepperdine, Boise State, Miami-Ohio, Texas A&M, Baylor, Rice, University of Texas-Arlington, University of Texas-El Paso, Abilene Christian, and UCLA.
Tech will be looking to continue to build momentum for the spring season. The doubles pair of sophomore Kelsey Garland and senior Samantha van der Drift try to keep their winning record after going 3-1 so far this season. Freshman Stefanie Peana will try to keep her hot hand as she won three matches advancing to the finals at the Lobo Invitational three weeks ago.
The Midland Racquet Club Collegiate Championship will be held Friday, Saturday and Sunday starting everyday at 9 a.m. local time.
