Van Niekerk Earns Big 12 Golfer of the Month

LUBBOCK, Texas - Texas Tech's Ulrika Van Niekerk was honored as the Big 12 Golfer of the Month after finishing in the top 15 in her last three tournaments.

Van Niekerk helped lead the Lady Raiders to a second-place finish in the Challenge at Wolfdancer and third place in the McHaney/Morehead Invitational as a team and has the most top 10 finishes on the season. Her average of 74.2 leads the team and she has the low round of the fall season with a 66.

This is the first award of the year for a Lady Raider and the first for van Niekerk in her career.
