LADY RAIDERS TO HOST MCHANEY/MOREHEAD INVTIATIONAL IN TWO WEEKS

LUBBOCK, Texas - Texas Tech women's golf will host the fourth installment of the Jeannine McHaney/ Audrey Morehead Invitational held at Texas Tech's Rawls Course on Oct. 6 - 7.
Last year's tournament saw the Lady Raiders take the team title with a three - round score of 900 to win by 19 strokes. Three members of the Lady Raiders placed in the top 10 as Megan Dowdy finished second shooting a 221, Gloriana Soto placed seventh with a 227 and Ulrika Van Niekerk finished in ninth place with a score of 228.
The teams competing this year include Baylor, Colorado, Kansas, Kansas State, Middle Tennessee, Missouri, Nebraska, Redland Community College, Sam Houston State, Arkansas-Little Rock, North Texas and UT-San Antonio.
The McHaney/Morehead Invitational will begin on Oct. 6th, at 8:30 a.m., with a shotgun start and finish on Oct. 7th, with another 8:30 a.m., shotgun start.
