- Nebraska leads the all-time series 26-20 while the Red Raiders own a 12-11 advantage at Dan Law Field.
- Senior second baseman Willie Rueda made his first start in the first game of today's doubleheader after suffering a hamstring injury back on Feb. 21. Rueda went a combined 3-for-7 with one RBI against the Huskers this afternoon.
- After cranking out a season-high 17 hits in the first game of this doubleheader, the Red Raiders managed just six in game-two. The six hits are tied for the second lowest total of the year.
- Junior shortstop Joey Kenworthy had his eight-game hit streak come to an end as he went 0-for-4.
