Texas Tech Moves Weekend Men's Tennis Match

LUBBOCK, Texas - Texas Tech has moved its regularly-scheduled men's tennis match against Lamar set for 1 p.m. Fri., March 27, to the same time on Sat., March 28, at the McLeod Tennis Center.
The meeting will be the ninth all-time between the two schools with Tech holding a 5-3 advantage. Lamar is currently 7-6 on the season.
Tech is coming off a 2-1 weekend at the Blue Gray Tennis Classic where the Red Raiders defeated No. 54 Virginia Commonwealth and No. 25 Oklahoma State, but fell to national-power No. 4 Tennessee. Tech is 10-6 on the year and currently ranked No. 32 in the nation in Tuesday's (March 24) Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) poll.
The match will also be Tech's last tune-up before Big 12 play begins April 3, as Tech travels to College Station, Texas, to face in-state rival Texas A&M.
Fans are encouraged to arrive early to Saturday's match as Schlotzky's Deli will provide free sandwiches for "Feed the Fan" day.
