- Missouri now leads the all-time series 22-19 and snaps a two-game win streak by the Red Raiders.
- Junior center fielder Taylor Ashby extended his current hit streak to a season-long eight games with an RBI single in the top of the first inning.
- Justin Berry's home run in the first inning was his third of the season and his first in Big 12 Conference play. The home run was his first since the game against Texas A&M-Corpus Christi on March 18.
- The 10 runs allowed by Tech in the seventh inning marked a season-high for the Red Raiders. The previous high was nine runs allowed at New Mexico in the eighth inning back on April 1.
- Chris Richburg and Scott LeJeune both extended their current hit streaks to seven games.
