LUBBOCK, TX - The 2010 Big 12 Conference Men's Basketball Media Day will be held in Kansas City, Missouri on Thursday, October 21, will be broadcast live from the Sprint Center.
Joining Texas Tech head coach Pat Knight at Media Day will be seniors John Roberson, D'walyn Roberts, and Mike Singletary.
The Big 12 Report, the Conference's online show that focuses on the league's schools and student-athletes, will broadcast live on location at the men's basketball media day this week. The broadcast will originate from Sprint Center in Kansas City. The Big 12 Report will provide the only live video available from media day.
Hosted by Correspondent Wendell Barnhouse and streamed at Big12Sports.com, the special media day coverage will give fans a unique look into media day as well as team previews and analysis. Barnhouse will conduct interviews with coaches and student-athletes as well as speak with various special guests.
Men's basketball media day will begin on Thursday, October 21, at 8:00 a.m. CT. Video of all 12 coaches' press conferences will be on the site as well as team previews. Video on the site will begin at 7:45 a.m. CT.
In addition to The Big 12 Report, additional coverage in the form of video, photos, quotes and more from each school will be available at Big12Sports.com during the course of each day.
The Red Raiders open the 2010-2011 season at home against Louisiana-Monroe on Friday, November 12. Tipoff at the United Spirit Arena will be at 7:00 p.m.
