LUBBOCK, Texas - The Texas Tech football program had four players named to the Associated Press All-Big 12 team, the AP announced Thursday.

Senior defensive lineman Colby Whitlock was a first team selection while senior wide receiver Lyle Leong, junior offensive lineman Mickey Okafor and sophomore kick returner Eric Stephens were named to the second team.

Just two days earlier, the Big 12 Conference named Whitlock second team all-conference and also honored junior offensive lineman Lonnie Edwards as a second team selection, along with nine other Tech players listed as honorable mention.
