Red Raiders Hit the Road for Two Matches

LUBBOCK, Texas - The No. 43 Texas Tech men's tennis team will look to improve on its 5-1 record as it hits the road for two matches against No. 38 TCU and No. 25 Wisconsin this week.
The Red Raiders will face TCU on Fri., Feb. 19, at 2 p.m., in Fort Worth, Texas, at the Bayard H. Friedman Tennis Center and No. 25 Wisconsin on Sat., Feb. 20, at 12:30 p.m., in College Station, Texas, at the George P. Mitchell Tennis Center.
Last weekend Tech beat both McMurry and Abilene Christian by the score of 7-0 to improve its record to 5-1. This week's matches will be the fifth and sixth ranked teams the Red Raiders have played so far this season.
The Red Raiders will return to Lubbock on Feb. 26 and 28, as they host No. 23 Arizona and No. 53 Denver, respectively.
New ITA (Intercollegiate Tennis Association) rankings will come out on Thurs., Feb. 18, prior to the matches on Friday and Saturday.
