Red Raiders Battle No. 21/22 Bears on Tuesday

LUBBOCK, Texas - The Texas Tech Red Raiders (16-12/4-10) battle the No. 21/22 Baylor Bears (22-6/9-5) on Tuesday at 7 PM in the final conference home game of the season at the United Spirit Arena.
The Texas Tech Athletic Department is offering $1 general admission tickets for the Tuesday men's home game against Baylor as well as the women's basketball game against Baylor on Wednesday.
Tuesday's game is also "Senior Night." Three Red Raider seniors, Darko Cohadarevic, Trevor Cook, and Nick Okorie, will be honored prior to the game with Baylor.
The game will air on the Texas Tech Sports Network (TTSN) with Brian Jensen delivering the play-by-play and John Harris providing the game analysis.
In Lubbock, the Red Raiders and the Bears can be seen on KLBK-TV. Additionally, the game is available by subscription on ESPN Full-court.
Red Raider fans can also listen to Mark Finkner and Corky Oglesby on Double T 104.3.
Texas Tech and Baylor will be meeting for the 120th time since the series began on January 2, 1937. The Red Raiders lead the series in Lubbock, 41-13, and on neutral courts, 6-2. The Bears lead the series in Waco, 30-27.
Baylor completed non-conference play with 13 wins and 1 loss.
The Bears are 9-5 in conference games. They have wins over Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, at Texas, Iowa State, at Nebraska, Missouri, Texas Tech, Texas A&M, and at Oklahoma.
They have losses at Colorado, at Kansas, to Kansas State, at Texas A&M, and at Oklahoma State.
For the season, Baylor is averaging 76.6 points per game and holding their opponents to 64.8 points per game.
In conference play, the Bears have scored 75.1 points over their first 14 games and their Big 12 opponents have scored 69.9 points per game.
LaceDarius Dunn leads the squad with 19.1 points per game. Tweety Carter has averaged 15.7 points per outing. Ekpe Udoh registers 13.5 points and 10.1 rebounds per contest.
The Bears won the last game in Waco, 88-70.
The Red Raiders won the last meeting played in Lubbock, 83-76.
Texas Tech completed non-conference play with twelve wins and two losses. The Red Raiders won all ten games at the United Spirit Arena and had two wins and two losses on the road.
Texas Tech has averaged 76.2 points per game for the season and has allowed their opponents 75.2 points per game.
The Red Raiders have four players in double figures for the season. John Roberson leads the squad with 14.8 points per game. Mike Singletary follows with 14.5 points per outing. Nick Okorie chips in 10.2 points per contest, and David Tairu adds 10.1 points per game coming off the bench.
In conference games, John Roberson is averaging 15.6 points per game while Mike Singletary is posting 13.2 points per contest.
Texas Tech is averaging 72.0 points per conference game and has allowed their opponents 79.8 points per game.
The Red Raiders travel to Boulder, Colorado, for their last conference game of the season on March 6. The game will be televised on the Big 12 Network with coverage in Lubbock provided by KJTV-TV.
