No. 14 Red Raiders Play Last Two Home Matches

LUBBOCK, Texas - The No. 14 Texas Tech men's tennis team plays its last home matches of the year as it hosts No. 38 Nebraska on Fri., April 9, at 6:30 p.m., and No. 12 Texas A&M on Sun., April 11, at 1 p.m. at the McLeod Tennis Center.
The Red Raiders enter the weekend with a 17-2 overall record and 0-1 in the Big 12 after falling to No. 5 Texas, 4-3, last Saturday. Tech's top two players, sophomores Raony Carvalho and Gonzalo Escobar, are ranked No. 6 and No. 72 nationally, respectively, while two doubles team are also ranked - No. 20 Carvalho and sophomore Rafael Garcia, and No. 40 Escobar and freshman Andre Stabile.
There will be free food and giveaways such as t-shirts and visors at both matches.
After this weekend's matches, Tech will have just three remaining Big 12 contests before the Big 12 Championships April 30-May 2, in Austin, Texas.
