Red Raiders Complete Play at RCCI

LUBBOCK, TX - After advancing through their opening rounds on Friday, David Pace and Raphael Pfister lost their singles matches on Saturday at the Racquet Club Collegiate Invitational in Midland, Texas.
On Friday, Raphael received an opening round bye and then defeated OU's John Henry Warden, 6-7, 6-3, (10-8) to advance to Saturday's play. In the Round of 16, Raphael fell to the tournament's No. 5 seed from Maryland, Tommy Laine, 6-2, 6-4.
In his first match on Friday, David Pace defeated Tulsa's Alastair Barnes, 7-6, 5-7, (17-15). David dropped Baylor's Robert Verzaal, 6-4, 6-4, in his second singles match on Friday. In Saturday's singles action, David fell to the No. 6 seed, Zach Nichols (TCU), 6-1, 6-2.
Texas Tech will send four players to the Baylor Invitational: Raony Carvalho, Gonzalo Escobar, Vitor Manzini, and Rafael Garcia will compete next week in Waco.
